TZX Files - Spectrum Next

Post by PeterJ »

Hi,

Please could someone with an accelerated Spectrum Next try loading a TZX file and choosing option one on the loader '128K Mode' and see you you get an error about not being able to communicate with the Pi?

All the other modes work for me, but not that one.

Thanks

It works fine on my Next, I use that option all the time. Is it a particular TZX?

I've downloaded the TZX of the original Mirrorsoft release from Spectrum Computing, I'll try it on my Next later and report back.

Hi Turtle_Quality,

I'm not sure why, but I reformatted the SD card and put a clean image on, and it seems to be working on all modes.

Thank you for your assistance.

As mentioned on fb, most likely you had an older version of the tzx loader on your sd card. It can happen as these things are still being developed.

Thanks Alcoholics Anonymous,

I was using the N-Go with the latest firmware. I recreated the SD Card from scratch and it fixed it. I think it was just an oddity. All working now.
