Games Maker (St Michael)

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

Games Maker (St Michael)

Post by PeterJ »

Way back in the 1980's you could pick up computer software in Marks and Spencer.

This week I was contacted by Adrian Page-Mitchell from the The Centre for Computing History here in the UK. They regularly get software donated and he happened to notice that we don't have much information on the above title.

Its based on the Quicksilva games package:

I will ask for scans of the cassette and instruction manual, and hopefully I can borrow the tape.

I've got that.
It's just Quicksilva's title re-packaged.

Great PaulJ,

Would you mind making a tap file? I'm assuming the loading screen is different?

Already preserved as a re-release of the Quicksilva original. Better scans of the cover are in Mort's scans on the Internet Archive.

Can we do something with this entry Einar Saukas? There are still magazine references that need keeping though. I'm happy for you to decide if it still needs it's own entry.

Maybe you would like to contribute by uploading the scans you mention via Pavel's form. That would be useful.

It shouldn't be a separate entry. Thanks for pointing this out!

I just fixed it. This correction will be in the next ZXDB update.
