To be honest, they're all pretty dreadful. It would be great if someone made a decent version of Donkey Kong. We have these fantastic mock-ups:

The Arcade Edition is pretty good. Have you tried it?

The Arcade Edition is pretty good. Have you tried it?

It's just a recoloured version of the official Ocean Donkey Kong, right? It's quite playable, and certainly the best of the bunch, but could be improved. Perhaps I was a bit harsh, but there are some shockingly bad versions out there.

A good job I managed to find Donkey Kong Arcade Edition, because it's swept the board here! The outright winner, with 7 votes. An enhancement of the official conversion from Ocean.

And what's second is very far away. With 2 votes, it's Kong by Ocean.

In joint third place, 1 vote each: Donkey Kong by Ocean and Oso Bobo by MicroHobby.

Well, I can understand the winner, but to have the publisher's early rip-off effort go above the pretty decent official game? I suppose it's all those votes going to the enhancement, really.
