West Bank Review

Post by Morcar »

A new video (although no talking on this one) is out, and we get to look at West Bank by Gremlin Graphics.

Do you have any history with this game, and if so, what was it?

Here we can found a fixed version for running it under Emulators like e.g. SpecEmu with Kempston Joystick: https://worldofspectrum.org/forums/disc ... ent_905423

I have a vague memory of a Spanish version, or clone, of this type of game.

West Bank is a Spanish game in fact, first released by Dinamic. Gremlin translated it to English and marketed it in the UK and elsewhere.

Yes, that's true, but maybe @zxbruno refers to Silven Gun, a quite good clone of Bank Panic (albeit a bit slow compared to West Bank) released on Microhobby magazine issue 182 cover tape. https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/4 ... Silver_Gun

zup Audionautas Interesting, I never heard about this West Bank clone - well like almost everything else that came with Microhobby in fact, I must say :)
