Code Masters software distribution status

I was positively surprised when I found in SC archive there are some CM games available for download, like Dizzy games, Ghost Hunters, Necris Dome, Operation Gunship and some sport simulators. I've known for years they denied free distribution of their old stuff commercial releases. What has recently changed?

I prefer to err on the side of caution so have removed the downloads. If we find its allowable its easy to switch back again.
