Hi Bob, unfortunately not, with this dot command my Omni simply resets after launching a file from the browser.
One problem at a time. Can you load a story file directly from BASIC with this updated dot command?
Ah, apologies, seems it was to early in the morning for me to properly process the word dot command ;)
I will give it a try when I get home from work.

Dear bob_fossil I´ve tested this one (called ".zxzvm v0.02" too) with SpecEmu (50 Mhz Speed :D) and it works without error on esxDOS 0.8.7, 0.8.8 and 0.8.9. Thanks for this update/error-fix!

Looks like I was to late, just found the time to test it on the Omni in 0.87 as well. Worked from the dot command. I testet z3 and z5 files and tested saving and restoring also.

Many thanks from me as well.

Hi bob_fossil and Luzie,

the new version works, I was able to run .Z3, .Z4 and .Z5 story files in both 32 and 64 characters per line. Great job :D

Thanks all for the feedback and kind words.

Think I've sorted the .z3 and .z5 browser plugins, so you should be able to launch your story files from inside my long filename browser without it crashing.

New test files available here.

I have tested the application by launching it from the browser and as an esxDOS command and it works fine. You could perhaps implement the CAPS SHIFT + ENTER combination to launch the application in 64-column mode from the browser. Thanks for this new source of fun.
