For people having trouble with the zxzvm dot command on esxDOS 0.87/0.88, does this test dot command work any better? Just copy it into your /BIN/ folder. It loads the files directly rather than through the .bas loader.
Dear bob_fossil I´ve tested this one (called ".zxzvm v0.02" too) with SpecEmu (50 Mhz Speed ) and it works without error on esxDOS 0.8.7, 0.8.8 and 0.8.9. Thanks for this update/error-fix!
Looks like I was to late, just found the time to test it on the Omni in 0.87 as well. Worked from the dot command. I testet z3 and z5 files and tested saving and restoring also.
Think I've sorted the .z3 and .z5 browser plugins, so you should be able to launch your story files from inside my long filename browser without it crashing.

I have tested the application by launching it from the browser and as an esxDOS command and it works fine. You could perhaps implement the CAPS SHIFT + ENTER combination to launch the application in 64-column mode from the browser. Thanks for this new source of fun.
