How do you post a picture with flashing attribs?

When taking a screenshot in SPIN it should be as a .gif, Tools > Options > Files > the screenshots tab > 'Preserve FLASH'

Is that what you were after, or is it more where do you store them? There is also SCR to image that works on native .scr (see the address bar here for example)

Agree, GIF files are the only web image format that works on all browsers for Flash images.

Do watch out when you try to post those gif files on X (or twitter) though. I remember they didn't like 2 frames gif files from zxspin, and I had to convert them again somewhere else before they work on twitter.

(Currently not using zxspin because I temporary switched to linux.)

I am thinking of using this as the background of the loading screen for SJOE anyway and maybe SJOE also flash animating manic miner style. I will probably do something like this using the Artist/Artist 2 on the speccy since I can't work out how to use ZX Paintbrush!



EDIT: Dammit got a tape loading error trying to save that to a TAP file in Spin Here is the fantastic code I used to produce that anyway It's about the 4th time I've typed this in then managed to not save it and have to retype it all over again...



EDIT2: I'm also redoing the graphics and movement code, adding a background (attribs only), colouring vowels and consonants different colours, having the piece COM (centre of mass) look rounder and being a different colour, and showing the letters in the preview of where they will land



EDIT3: Ignore the wacky border colours that's just timing info (the blue border has not reached the top of the drawable screen area though so flicker free - at least for the moment!)

EDIT4: How it looked in the current release, not going to change the HUD (apart from the HAND/NEXT thing if the colours change obvs)

You need to build a machine or something to travel back to 1983, find Malcolm Evans, and tell him to use this as the loading screen for Knot in 3D.

In fact, as good as their games are, I'd like to see your take on every loading screen by New Generation Software!
