Finally figured out how to do border graphics by changing hex-values in .bsc-files, so I'm experimenting with border graphics once again:

Your work deserves more exposure. Maybe a slideshow on YouTube at some point?

I did one pretty recently, and also "Modern ZX-Retro Gaming" channel uploads some of my artwork, along with others from ZX-Art.

Still experimenting with border graphics, used the Amstrad CPC Turrican sprite for reference...

This thread is a thing of pure jaw dropping beauty.

The different styles and ideas. I am in absolute awe!

I mean just look at this, it belongs on the wall of a gallery and to be studied by classrooms full of art students for years to come.

Yep. ;) It was uploaded on zx-art with the name of the song, and I'm gonna add the reference screenshot right now, so yeah, it's an obvious copy, there's no way I could've drawn that without any references *sigh* . Amazing song by the way, still trying to listen to more of that Righeira stuff, italo disco is wonderful.

To be honest I never could stand Italo Disco, except for Righeira  This song in particular reminds me of the first time I put my hands on a Spectrum, because it was released at the same time, January 1984. Almost 39 years later, I remember it as if it were yesterday :dance

If you existed at the height of the Spectrum years, your name would be as famous as Bob Wakelin or Joffa Smith.

Outstanding work.

Don't ask me why there's a red Danny DeVito with hair, believe me, there is an explanation :) Other than that, good luck to guess them all!

Apparently in mid-to-late 80's Ocean Software were developing a game based on that 70's mafia movie Goncharov, but ultimately it was not released. There were some mentions of it in some press, but nothing too special. This loading screen was found recently, and slightly corrupted, so I tried to restore it. We're thinking about releasing that found tape soon!
