Hi,

In this thread I want to post a bunch of Speccy mockups I've made over the last year or so that might help you to create something.

Feel free to use any of the graphics in your projects, and I'd love to know if you use them!

Nice work. Could make it a lot easier to use in games if you could link to .scr / native files though.
(most conversion tools make a random mess of attribute inversions)

Thanks! I definitely prefer solid/silhouette type characters where there might be more colour clash but guess it depends on the game.

Really great works, although I would also recommend author's original art, especially landscapes - his most recent screen "Lakeside" blew eyeryone's mind, instantly one of the best depictions of nature on Spectrum ever. There's a possibility that ZX-Art website might have its own animation format in the future, so it would be nice to see all of it animated here. :) Fictional Cyberpunk 2077 title screen, for example, looks much cooler with animation. Also that Metroid mock-up screenshot looks surprisingly on point considering limitations, reminds me a lot of those official Hudson Soft conversions of Nintendo games for Japanese computers like PC-88.

I tried to figure out a while ago how to upload animated versions of some works to ZX-Art but couldn't figure out what format I needed or if it was possible. The closest I've seen is the flashing attributes format but that only allows 2 frames I guess.

Great stuff, I particularly like the Greek tomb one, very atmospheric and I also like that style of graphic.
