Paralax test

Post by catmeows »

Paralax seems to be hot topic these days
I'm quite tempted to make something like F.I.R.E. shooter, with bosses from Fantasy Zone.

Thanks. It Is really funny that single character line, split into 3 and 5 pixels belts can look so well.

It felt empty so I have added 16 sprites.

What is your favorite enemy attack pattern ?

If you're going for 25 fps, is there room for a third scrolling row? Slow mountains for example. It does look good as it is though.

I don't have one. I like a nice variety of mainly front-on attacks with a random position & chase element, with a few from above and below, even fewer from behind, and fewer still—perfect sine waves :)

It could be done, three or four characters on heigth, but I want some enemies sitting on ground and I don't know how to combine background and OR sprites without getting a complete mess.
