in the game, the screen is made up (against a clean background) of arbitrary sprites

here is the visual construction of the screen.

in the game, sprites are printed immediately on the screen, but without attributes.
(ATTR printed into the buffer) which is transferred after building the entire screen

dizzy does not have its own color, he takes the attributes from the background
paper 0 : ink 7 : bright 1

in principle game can be patched.
replaces (before displaying on the screen) game screen attributes with custom ones.
they can even be loaded (using esxdos)
..........
and I see another problem - empty space after taking the item
