Sinclair Basic Cheat Sheet?

Post by firelord »

Hello,
I use cheat sheets in many languages. The Single and Double page ones makes my work much easier.
So,is there a one or two page PDF CheatSheet for Sinclair Basic - for begginers?

eg something that look like this : https://cheatography.com/guslong/cheat- ... rs/pdf_bw/
or something like https://htmlcheatsheet.com/js/

I could create one but I thought I should try asking first :)

Thanks in advance

(I don't mean the which keyword is in which key)

That sounds like a great idea @firelord.

The closest I have seen is chapter 4 of the Spectrum+ User Guide:

I have and use this manual. I have already scanned the blue pages from my Greek Translation of this manual.
The problem is that it is many pages. I was hopping to a more "modern" cheatsheet of 1-2pages of condenced language syntax.

Here is a selection of ZX Spectrum Plus manual in Greek.
ZXSpectrum_ManualGREEK_scannedPART-rotated.pdf https://1fichier.com/?2qv5vnn5ob5n0t8lpw6u
I have scanned only the pages that are useful for using an emulated machine.

I must scan the whole book with better quality and send it for publishing in the ZXDB :)

BASin comes with both the 48k, 128k, +2 and 48k+ manuals all distilled into one. The blue pages above are in the appendices iirc. It's in .chm format but worth keeping around.

Yes there were BASIC cheat sheets for various popular computers that were sold in the U.K., including one for the Speccy. I’ll have a rummage and see what I can find…

I was sure that I have a real physical card, but it’s not in my bookcase with my Spectrum books, so must be stored somewhere else :(

I’ve also had a quick smooch on the internet, no luck so far :(

I can point you in the direction of a ZX81 version though…

From facebook group they send me the "phoenix_computer_crib_card.pdf" and the ZXNextBASICcommands.pdf that they are cheat sheets but in more pages.
I will try to see if I can edit them to one/two pages.

There is also the small pocket book, the Micro Guide for the ZX Spectrum. It contains a brief description of each BASIC command/function.

This is also a very good quickguide.
The official zx soectrum + nanual also has very good descriptions.
I 'm looking for a single/double page pdf cheatsheet to print. For class usage.
