Fuse fork with native Apple M1/M2 (ARM64) support

Post by desertkun »

Hello.

I've created a fork of Fuse, called FuseX, which works natively for Apple's M1/M2 arm64 processors.
Additionally, it had gdbstub support, which allows modern development with help of z88dk.

The fork is located here: https://speccytools.org (see FuseX section)

I couldn't reach the author, and after many attempts I just forked it.

FuseX update
https://github.com/speccytools/fuse-for ... ses/latest

Spectranet on FuseX now works out of the box — no installation of rom is required, as it's provided by default. I've also removed the need to configure network settings.
As people asked, I've added support for drag & drop.

Additionally, spectranet comes with INDEX preinstalled. All you have to do when you run FuseX with spectranet enabled, is to type "!" and that's it.

Awesome work. This is my go-to emulator so I'm glad it's getting some love.

Hope it's not rude to make a feature suggestion..? My biggest gripe with Fuse is having to go into Preferences to change machine type from 48k to 128k etc which I do quite often. It would be nice to have this option in the pull-down menus.
