Merry Christmas everyone.

Today I am going to start a new series where we look in Crash Magazine and just the Smashes within the mag there is also some gameplay of those games. At the end we then look at the charts and see what was rock’in for that time of year.

In this one we look at the Crash Christmas issue 11 published in 1984.

So many great games and memories.

84 is up there for me as one of, not only the greatest years for the speccy, but my life in general. I was 11 years old, had a great group of mates and we spent any spare time building BMX jumps, messing about in the local haunted/abandoned house, building bases and hunting for hedge porn

I did notice that the January issue was the Christmas one later on.

I always thought it was this one because I remember getting it mid-January as I found it in a small newsagent in town.

Never mind, the actual Christmas issue is going to be released on New Year's Day.
