Contents:

Woot Tape Magazine - all the usual wibble.
Woot on Sunday - @flatduckrecords's more polished colour supplement
3DAttrMaze - @uglifruit's slick combination of maze and minigame
Ben Shapiro Sim - @TMD2003's adenoidal gabbling engine
Caveted against the Darkness - whatever 'Caveted' means, Fernando Pereira has updated this faster more playable compiled version of it
ChaosFX - @catmeows's surprisingly addictive sound fiddler
Final Fantasy Jukebox - @TMD2003 FF tunes and graphics showcase
The Legacy of Markham Island - @EdToo's recovered and rebuilt text adventure
N3 - @+3code's ULA+ intro and walking demo
NightmAirBnb - my own platform adventure game in which you can't die
Pondoom - I was inspired by @asteroidZX's crap dice 3 to mix Pontoon and assault course
Radioaction - nuclear safety against the clock. What do you mean, barely type-in quality?
Illuminati II - @TMD2003's latest code cracking installment
Woot & Spell - @Jbizzel's ZX version of the Speak and Spell
XMas Memory - @Ralf's warming christmassy graphics test
ZXMas Carol - @uglifruit. One to play on xmas day for that warm fuzzy glow.

That's it I think. Thanks so much to everyone that contributed. I found it tough trying to come up with the goods this year, so I'm so happy that so many people have contributed quality material. All this will be archived in ZXDB in due course.

Phew. Is it time for a sherry?

Enjoy the magazine and HAPPY ZXMAS. WOooooT!

Awesome... :dance :dance :dance

Massive thanks to the contributors and of course @R-Tape for pulling out all the stops and making it so for us all.

...It's a bit of a godsend for me this year - due to a sudden visit from our good friend 'Mr Covid', my Xmas family/visiting plans are a bit scuppered... But at least I can console myself by having a Woot!-y Xmas, and probably watch that Netflix documentary about Captain Sausage and the 80s Speccy scene in Spain. :)

Seeing as I've made a heavy contribution to this, I should be diving into it immediately, BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! I'm preparing a SPECIAL EXTRA BONUS for those of you willing to make a small deviation from the ways of Our Revered Creator, Sir Clive. But don't fret, there will be no bread bin-shaped machines with drab colour palettes, nor any garishly-coloured and very long models promoted by a Cockney wideboy who says "You're fired!"

What could it be? Have there been any clues on other threads? Those of you who cracked the mystery of Waterbelle End last year should be able to work it out.

I'd better get it finished!
Spectribution: Dr. Jim's Sinclair computing pages.
Features my own programs, modified type-ins, RZXs, character sets & UDGs, and QL type-ins... so far!

I've not played everything yet , but how great is @R-Tape's NightmAirBnb?!? Brilliant.

Rescuing Nuns alone could have been a game!

I regret to say I completed it, but failed the nuns, and feel bad that I failed to rescue them.

Small footnote: I developed N3 with emulators, but I've been informed (tnks, @flatduckrecords ) in a real +3 it doesn't seem to detect the ULA+ (only the game, the intro works fine). No idea why, I think in both I used the example taken from http://www.zxprojects.com/atc/UsingtheU ... rBasic.pdf As I programmed the thing to check the ULA and stop the loading if ULA+ wasnt present, (Houston) we have a problem.

So, if you are using real hardware, enter in the BASIC editor. Then MERGE "org_load.bas", delete line 954 (that is, simply type "954" in the editor and the line will magically disappear), type ERASE "org_load.bas" (to make space in the disk) and save the new file with SAVE "org_load.bas" LINE 1.

Sorry for the inconveniences.

I've failed the nuns and clearly have no idea what to do with the UDG editor  on the plus side I am no longer a bean.

I think all that is required I'd that you make a udg. Anything will do, but probably best it's not blank.

The nuns appear to be optional?

If you don´t know what to do with the UDG editor, you´ll not complete the game ;)

Too many games! I'm playing 3D Attr maze and CaveTed most at the moment.

As bizzel says, nun rescue is optional - you can play it as many times as you like to rescue them, but you still get the elixir if you give up. I must be going soft!

Just try a few things with the UDG editor, go for a wander and see what happens ;)
