I looked at that and immediately thought of Valhalla. Annoyingly, though, of the 36 characters to appear in the game, Sif isn't one of them.

I think you're stretching the rules a bit too much anyway. The bit you take from the previous title should be the full word of what is visible in the next title - not a partial word.
If you take Flunky > Kyber Crystals ...
... then one could as well do something like these:
Cybernoid > Bell
Rainbow Islands > Lawnmower
Heartland > Hedge
Which would make it all a bit pointless.

Can someone explain the 'Stop Virus' and Dizzy game connection? I can't see it...

Re: Show It! (forum game)
As the Dizzy folk proudly lined up on the title page they were happy, a game that involved all of them.
"it's all about us!" one of them squeaked in eggcitement.
It could be that the browser is not displaying the bold tag properly (or stronger) as it not on win7 firefox but is on XP firefox
I did edit the post afterwards, maybe that stripped out the tags.
I'll underline it next time.

I could see the highlighted 'US' bit of the clue but I wasn't familiar with that particular game. But I see what you're getting at nowMatGubbins wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 6:42 pm As the Dizzy folk proudly lined up on the title page they were happy, a game that involved all of them.

Re: Show It! (forum game)
That "Jeremy Clarkson's Top Shelf Challenge" game looked interesting so I downloaded it ... and had a good chuckle at the gameplay, the high-res graphics when you succeed, and what happens when it's "game over". (it's fairly difficult due to the unresponsive "controls")
Perhaps it's something people from outside the UK won't "get" immediately? I know he was/is on Top Gear but that's where my knowledge ends, apparently he has said a few controversial things over the years. I assume the joke with the game's title is:
1. Jeremy Clarkson is rather tall (so he can easily reach that shelf anyway)
2. "top gear" > "top shelf" word play
3. the top shelf was an "area of interest" by our younger selfs, so it's more likely to be a topic of nostalgic thought/conversation in our generation (of those in their 40s/50s now) than generations after us who just grew up with internet access for such filth
