While it's a little slow, increasing the CPU seems to make the game even more impressive.
I got 2 time stamps on the videos' description for you to take a look at.

Completed, what a game!!!!! A pity it was released 1st of January 2023, or it would be a serious contender to 2022 GOTY.
Final battle here... Spoiler

We will have Planeta Sinclair's GOTY as usual (live broadcast from the museum, this year).
But this is a 2023 game (it was released on the 1st January).
I played it on the Omni for a few hours yesterday, the gameplay is surprisingly deep and complex. On 7 MHz it runs great. I will give it a try later today on my element ZX to see how it works with 28 MHz.

Not far in yet, but it is incredible what they have squeezed into the limited memory space. Very impressive.

Is anything known about the authors of the game ?
who are they and from which country ?
To your question about the meaning, "weald" is Old English for "wood, forest". So "Witchwood", presumably. Either that, or the real Wychwood: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wychwood.

Brilliant game, isn´t it? It´s so addictive...
Yep, great game, only a little bit slow. But to increase the speed 2x in the emulator is the solution.
