Lovely Icelandic man Binni has a first look at Operation Wolf on the ZX Spectrum, a game he always wanted to play but never saw in Iceland.

Re: Binni looks at Operation Wolf on the Spectrum
Great video, and well done on the intro Snorkers. MCU level of green screen chroma keying on a green background wearing a green cammo outfit. Amazing stuff.
I’ll avoid any obvious jokes about certain frozen food grocery stores not stocking Spectrum games. (I first got my Spectrum a bit too late and nowhere nearby stocked games. But they didn’t stock magazines either, so at least I didn’t know what I had been missing out on).
I’ve subscribed to Binni’s channel. I see from the RTS Discord he’s already working on the next video. I think the way he pronounces Robocop is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard, so I hope it’s about that!

Yip, really enjoyed that vid, plenty to love about it.
Subbed to his channel now too. More than happy to hear more reminisces of Icelandic Speccyness.

I can’t find a version of this that works on my Toastrack. I can’t select Kempston from the screen but all the other options work. I’m using a DivMMC future.

You have to press both the FIRE key on your joystick and the "3" key on the keyboard to start the game with Kempston joystick control. However, grenade throwing with Kempston joystick enabled seems to be bugged as well, grenades will be thrown and used up without any possibility for the player to control them:

The key is white light, and lots of it. I have white lightbulbs too. Try it with yellow lightbulbs and you're in for a world of hurt...flatduckrecords wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 10:40 am Great video, and well done on the intro Snorkers. Thanks. I guess I’ll just have to play it on my plus 2!Alessandro wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 12:46 pm You have to press both the FIRE key on your joystick and the "3" key on the keyboard to start the game with Kempston joystick control.
