Can you explain the difference from the original?

I played it briefly and I noticed that there was good music at the start. What else? I got to the first bonus stage and nothing was really happening.

(Loading screen does kick arse though. ha!)

Several differences... Music, screens between levels, the score bar, ...

Apart from the loading screen and ay music at the menu

there are little ay ditties and splash screens between levels and game over

Many background sprites in the game are different from the 1992 original

Slider has just messaged me with the following:
2023 edition contains converted music from C64, interlevel screens and game frame at the bottom of the screen now

the 2023 edition doesn't seem to be working on the 48k :(. it just resets after loading completes.

Yes, 128k only, because AY music and interlevel screens are located in 128k pages

Hi @Slider sorry to wake up the thread, who's the author of the title screen? I'm doing a small calendar featuring this year's artwork, and I like to do proper attribution if I can. Thanks!

Perfect! Thanks, I was confused about him being the load screen author.

Great fun! Got some gameplay up here :)

I was a bit confused, though, as I thought the AY option meant the music would play within the game itself, but it doesn't do so, even in the online version.
