The second of two Firebird February comparisons is now out! One of my old slightly more obscure Firebird favourites, GOTHIK, seemed to be somewhat undervalued in the C64 community and comparatively highly regarded here, so I decided to dig into the game's three versions and see what's the deal. I have to say, it can sometimes be surprising, how a small matter can make a whole lot of difference...

Whoop, just in time for the Easter holidays, I managed to finish my often postponed comparison of a bona-fide (how is that even a word?) Spectrum classic - Hewson's space shooter ZYNAPS, which was one of my last short-term Speccy obsessions in my original time period with the computer (1985-1987). This might be somewhat controversial, and (---spoiler alert---) the usual FRGCB scoring system fails spectacularly, but if you care to read and see for yourselves how things turn out, the might be some small logic to the results here. I don't know.
