I thought someone finally added the shadow to the chopped off head when it lies still on the ground. Alas, it’s just different backgrounds and health gauges. :x

On the up side, I fired up the original and had a blast kicking my opponent into the corner a few times.

The Atari ST version has some nice sound samples. And since the soundchip is the same it should be feasible to port this to the ZX 128K.

The ZXArt link does indeed lead nowhere. The Virtual TR-DOS link works fine.

That doesn't necessarily follow. Sound samples are both memory and CPU demanding and they're both things the ST has considerably more of than the Speccy, even if they both have similar sound chips.

I tried the fast speed Barbarian mod a couple days ago and all I could think of was "Since this was possible back in the day, we could've had a fast Barbarian and more frames in the animation as well"
