Romik's Colour Clash entry says it has Currah uSpeech Support (belongs to group 14010).
But I can't find any supporting documentation for that. The sleeve and the manual on the tape itself (it's the first data block) just refer joysticks support (Kempston and Sinclair), also the various magazines reviewing it fail to associate any speech support.
Are the launch dates of both a little too inverted? I see adverts to Colour Clash from June / July 1983 and the ones for uSpeech only later that year (December).
Can anybody (with real hardware or maybe even an emulator supporting uSpeech) confirm this support? What "speech" can be heard?

This information came from Martijn's old WoS. Perhaps you can find more information searching the old WoS forum?

You mean ARTIC Computing, as printed on the cassette itself, surely.

No, Artic Computing - this is publisher from page of this game, but
I saw a cassette cover with a cassette about which there is no information on the site.

on the cassette it says that the publisher - Beam Software.

My searches there got nowhere. :(
My original question came from the Fuse emulator development, where uSpeech support is progressing.

From what I remember about the early Artic adverts (the previous poster was pointing out that you misspelled it as Arctic) from doing research into their adventures, Galaxians doesn't appear until 1982. Artic may have had an arrangement for Beam to publish their games either in Australia or elsewhere but there would need to be some clear evidence that that is something else other than a re-release. Publication of the game by Artic itself is clear in the advertising from the time and the inlays etc. http://www.zx81stuff.org.uk/zx81/tape/g

And articles like this...
https://archive.org/details/YourCompute ... /page/n27/
The Galaxians program was written for Artie by William Wray, a Hull schoolboy who is currently doing his levels at Cotiingham grammar school. William Wray first visited Artic with a view to buying some of their programs, but he and Richard Turner started talking and William Wray ended up sending in one of his own programs. With a little help from Artic, Wray's Galaxians program was polished up and marketed under the Artic label.
Also, you've linked to the *ZX Spectrum* version of the game. Your images show the earlier ZX81 release.
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/2 ... _Galaxians

There *is* some tidying up to be done in the database; the ZX81 side of things does need some dedicated work from someone more experienced in that field, for example ZX Galaxians is also listed here on this compilation/double pack...
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/3 ... d_Of_Peace
which presumably also needs to cross-link to this one...

In Electronic Games magazine (Italy) profile it is said that issues 7 and 8 doesn't exist, but not like separate ones as I could think.

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/magazin ... G_Computer

I've already noticed from Internet Archive there's only one issue for them corresponding to July and August months of 1984: https://archive.org/details/Electronic-Games-ita-07-8

Not a bug, rather an integration. By perusing inside its machine code block with Tapir, I found that Spectron has been authored with Wye Compiler.

ZXSDR - Radio is wrongly marked as 'Utility: I/O Handling'. It's just a scene demo (more's the pity).

This Database entry can be deleted:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/2 ... kad_Action

There is no such release. Arnsvik Data had the text Spectrum Arkad Action on all their black inlay that they used to re-release John Prince games. Maybe someone have seen such a tape, and thought that was the name of the compilation.

I'll upload one of these tapes shortly, and add information on another one, but the name of these John Prince re-releases are:

Starblazer (I've added that some time ago)
Galaxy Warlords + Squirmy Wormy (Will upload that soon)
Spinads + Storm-Fighters (Will be added as MIA)

So please delete this entry :)

There was no SAM Coupé release of Delta Charge!.

The Spectrum version cassette inlay and advertising is labelled “Spectrum and SAM Coupé” and the inlay includes SAM owners’ loading instructions: “Load the Spectrum Emulator and follow instructions”

According to World of SAM it was the first Spectrum game to be marketed as SAM-compatible.

This screenshot doesn't seem to match the game:

Perhaps it was taken with the wrong hi-res emulation settings?

Trainyard Express has a release date of 31/August/2023. It looks to have been released over a year ago (I can't confirm the exact date).

The ZXDB entry for Discovery Disc Map needs deleting. The magazine links take you some Spectrum game reviews.

The correct entry is here:
