Hi everyone!

Z80 Attack, game created by Joe McAlby [Alberto José González Pedraza], one of the founding members of New Frontier (later Bit Managers) around 1987/1988. All this when he was about 15 or 16 years old with the well-known CRL 3D Gamemaker. A new MIA rescued from oblivion, where the author had not yet started his impressive career in the gaming world. Thanks for everything Alberto!

Not my favourite genre, but this is a nice find. The graphics are ace.

That's another one to Alberto's list. Hopefully Acid killer, Pim Pam Pum, Vengador and Jueves will turn up and complete the set.

How was this recovered?

Hi Dave

According to my friend Javi Ortiz, Alberto recovered the game himself from his old cassette tapes recently. While Javi was visiting him, Alberto showed him Z80 Attack and Javi encourage him to release it as soon as possible. Since Alberto hasn't got his own itch.io website, the game was uploaded to Javi's.

Also, some graphic artwork and scroll demos have been recovered from Acid Killer and Vengador, but sadly not full games. Javi is trying to convince him to preserve that artwork too. Pretty sure he will succeed. ;-)

Best regards

Well, probably the most linear game created in 3D Game Maker. 75% rooms are empty ...

Never mind, here is the map:
