Dunric's 8K Adventure

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

Dunric's 8K Adventure

Post by 8BitAG »

Doing a bit of research for CASA, I noticed that the ZXDB entries for this game are incomplete.

The English ZX81 port of Paul Allen Panks' Dunric's 8K Adventure is currently listed...
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/3 ... _Adventure
* Paul Allen Panks needs crediting as an author on this one.

However, André Baune's French port of the same game; also for the ZX81; is not included in the archive...
http://zx81.ordi5.free.fr/andre/andre.htm#dunric
On some other sites the French version is referenced as Aventure en 8ko.

Paul also lists a ZX Spectrum version (with the snapshot & tap file) on his old website here...
https://ppanks76.tripod.com/
(scroll down)
which is not currently in the ZXDB archive.

[Note: Paul died in 2009; see his bio on CASA for more details https://solutionarchive.com/list/author%2C2368/ ]

Cheers. The ZX81 files have been added and the ZX-Spectrum version has been given a new ID. I'll need to wait for Paul Allen Panks to be in the DB as a new label (next update) before I can change the publisher/author details for the zeddy version.
