Ain't sure about that, I think are vent pipes for letting air out from drains and other kind of plumbing like sewers that can produce gas.

It immediately reminded me of a Speccy game - any guesses as to which one?

Clue: It's not a massively well-known game. But one of its creators is a very well-known 80s game author.

it's the sort of random art you get in a Travelodge. It reminds me of Roller Coaster.
