OK, I'll jump in with this one then if that's OK...
From another review of the same game...
A good score challenge game.
The game is only let down by the way you can get easily trapped and only have a very limited "Spell Power" to get out of a tight spot.
Still well worth a few minutes...
I have absolutely no idea and I'm completely basing this guess on a playing as a female(?) character (not that I would ever question Corrine Russels femininity). I'm pretty sure it's not, but:
"
This game taught me an important lesson about politics: keep taxes low all year, then jump them to 20% in late December. Once you've collected, drop them to 1% again. Repeat. Sheeplike humanity will love you, your coffers will swell, and your cities will span the entire landmass.
Actually this game is full of useful life lessons: the need to plan ahead for big projects; the importance of keeping people happy in order to get the best out of them.....
"

Someone else can take my turn
As the game progresses more of this myriad of oddball enemies are added til' you get to the point where there's so many onscreen no matter how far you make it up you're likely to spend more time flapping around on the floor and falling back down to the bottom than anything else, [...]
Haven't read the whole thread (again, forgive me, it's a long one) but see if you can guess this piece of dirt:
ZX Computing: "[software house] had a band of semi-naked girls running around their stand with whips!" Sinclair User: "All the monsters are bright green, which lends a sinister effect to the game." Your Sinclair: "[enemies include] Ghostbuster evacuees"

I'm guessing this one might be Max Headroom?
NO! You FOOL!
Expanding a bit
This is a music strategy-management game written by the late Chris Sievey who was a member of the band The Freshies but is best known as Frank Sidebottom, a comedic character who was instantly recognisable by his giant paper-mache head.
The Biz. I didn't know Chris Sievey did games too. His Sabotage ZX81 music video is my favourite thing, more so than 3D Monster Maze. What a talented chap, I've got a photo of me and his bronze statue in Manchester somewhere.

I think for this thread we're supposed to be using quotes from Spectrum 2.0 reviews - at the bottom of the entry under 'User Reviews (formerly Spectrum 2.0)'. Rather than magazine reviews?
Having said that I know this game, so here's a snippet from one of the Spectrum 2.0 reviews for anyone who wants to guess:
a weird shoot'em up with a view from behind your character, and lots of green monsters and green busty women, but don't get too excited because of course they want to kill you, just like in real life
