When you catch a criminal in the game, he reveals time or place where you can catch another, more important criminal (which leads eventually to the boss). Unfortunately the bug makes the time to be displayed badly, instead of minutes you get some screen trash.
Fixed using POKE 40557,112 (changing "LD (HL),A" to "LD (HL),B").
