Tartan Software released a number of text adventures on the Spectrum and so I was surprised when I saw this and Matching Pairs which I shall look at in my next review. With this one I started wondering if it was actually a game since this game's screenshot only showed a scorecard and there was no evidence that it contained any kind of gameplay, this is the gameplay. Basically there is no course at all, you have to select your club and your shot power based on complete blind luck, you cannot even select your direction or anything. And that will be why Tartan stuck with text adventures, and in fact this to a degree is a text adventure. It's a text-based golf adventure to nowhere that you or rather I will never forget for all the wrong reasons.
