A fairly run of the mill but enjoyable text adventure written in Quill (one of 3 adventures included on 'Adventure Tape 1'). Fairly easy and not too long to complete although it was a bit frustrating at times trying to work out which words I needed to use to do some things, ie.(at the door at bottom of flight of stairs) ENTER DOOR, GO THROUGH DOOR etc... did not work, I had to type ENTER ROOM even though the word ROOM was not in the description. Another place I got stuck was in the ploughed field (I won't give anything away but I had to resort to the hints included on the tape for this one) and again I knew what to do but the word I needed was not in the description. If it were not for these shortcomings I would have said this would have been a good game for novice adventurers.
