1984 Sinclair User (UK)

For a type-in game this is quite imaginative. The object of the game is to cruise several different planetary systems in search of diamonds. You control a spaceship flying over a planet, which can be seen in the upper bigger area of the screen, this where you see the defense of that planet in action, you must either avoid or shoot them, at the same time you have to position your spaceship and press fire (space key), an astronaut will then be teleported to the planets surface, the lower area of the screen, where he can collect diamonds, but must be aware of defense mines. In this area you have to use different keys (K-left; L-right). When ready press fire to return to the spaceship, when clear, go to the grid on top right of the screen and press zero (0), you can now choose a different system where continue your mission. Obviously this isn't groundbreaking in anyway, it wasn't intended that way, you even have to write the command RUN at the beginning of the game, but on the other hand the game features some great ideas, usually not implemented in BASIC games.
