Reviews for Benny Bunny: Litterbugs (#24323)

Over the next few reviews I am going to be looking at the Benny Bunny series, all seven of them. Yes, there were SEVEN games in this series, I think there's a reason why this series isn't looked at in the same nature as say the Horace and Dizzy series of games. Beginning with Litterbugs, published on Issue 28 of Sinclair Programs magazine in February 1985. This one isn't bad and with this I can see why the author wrote a second game in this series and beyond, it's quite a simple platformer with a setup that works well. However, you can climb ladders yet cannot climb down for if you do you drop a basket to block the bugs. Also, when you do hit a bug with a basket he will spawn at the same point, and sometimes that's in front of the exit, which means you have to try and manipulate him down the screen for you to get up the screen without him. This was a nuisance but at the same time it made the game work. So not a bad start for Benny Bunny, I have a feeling though that it's going to go pear-shaped from here on.
