It’s an arcade conversion of a classic……by Domark…..and you’ll never guess what? It’s really good! It’s just as fun as the arcade original, complete with sampled speech and sound straight from it! Very impressive!

Coloured blocks fall down the screen, tempest style. You need to catch them on a paddle thing and either throw them back or drop them below to form shapes.

A wonderful example of how an arcade conversion should be. Sublime, perfect and just as good as the real thing if not better. Vastly overlooked for the title of best arcade conversion on the Spectrum.

Great game, fine conversion

Always did see Klax as an overrated title. The Speccy version is perfect and looks and plays just as the arcade version did, but I was never fond of it personally.
