1981 DK'Tronics Ltd (UK)
by Jeff Minter

This may actually be the first 3D game ever released on a Speccy. It was published under Don Priestley's label, the now mythic DK'Tronics, claimed to be leaders in both software and hardware for the ZX81.
The game itself is rather crude and not at all fun. In black & white, block graphics, no sound and a boring empty maze couldn't survive long in the ever progressing gaming scene.
It was still a great and welcome effort by Jeff Minter in 1981 opening a few doors and inspiring other people.
