What a weird title. Is it meant to read McWash? M.C. Wash? I have no idea. And speaking of having no idea, this game confused the hell out of me at first and the German instructions did not help. However, with the powers of translation I was able to work out that there are five buckets to collect to fill the bath and every time you pick up a bucket you need to return in to the bathtub. Plus, there are only six screen so there isn't much faffing about to do in order to locate one. There are also sponges that you have to avoid and if they touch you whilst holding a bucket then you lose the bucket. You need to fill up the bath before time expires. This is actually really decent once you get your head around it and work out what you're meant to be doing. The keys are responsible and the movement is quick, it's pretty well written for a BASIC game. There is an element of skill needed to outsmart the sponges and maneuver past them once you get the bucket, because once you get one they get really frenzied towards you. I feel that rather than the game being called Mc Wash Goes Bathing it should really have been called Attack of the Mutant Sponges, I think that would have sold well. It is somewhat let down by the scrolling though it is merely a minor complaint on my part. Repetition is another problem, there are 11 levels I believe and only the amount of sponges in the level changes, apart from that I believe the layouts are identical as I could not notice any difference. But overall it is surprisingly quite good.
