This is just wonderful! Absolutely magnificent! One of the finest arcade conversions I've ever played! The gameplay is superb, the music from Tiny Williams is awesome, the whole game is just a fantastic work of art. How the heck did it take me so long to discover such a gem! I would have been so addicted to this back in the day.
A truly glorious game.

Pang is a hell of a fun game. its very addictive and very hard in later levels. I cant remember the name of the first spectrum version I played, but I know it was miles away from this.
The monochrome setting is always a problem and it is not the best I've seen, but its the possible due to the machines limitations.
But what really matters is the gameplaying, and that's pretty smooth. A joy. And the game gets contagious right from the start, specially when playing with a partner. I noticed the fire key, when in normal fire, doesn't respond immediately, but maybe I'm wrong.
I would rate it higher if the presentation was neater. But overall its a fun game, only slightly spoiled by the spectrum's own limitations.
4,5 points
A superb coin-op conversion! Excellent bubble-bursting action around the world from the Mitchell arcade original. One of the latest peaks of Spectrum gaming.
I think I must be only the person who doesn't like this game. It's not that it's a bad game it's just that it's very boring. You pop bubbles and they split into two smaller bubbles. You keep doing this until eventually they disappear. And you do this on every level. Some levels have obstacles in them but it's not enough to keep my interest for very long. Not when there's so many better puzzle games out there.

Pang is a really nice and charmful game, very simple to play and easily amusing. It's one of those games I would have spent hours playing if I'd bought it back in the day. Good stuff.

Ocean had another winner with this one. Beautiful graphics, impressive presentation and fun gameplay make this one of best arcade conversions on the ZX Spectrum.

This was brilliant on the arcades and the Spectrum version is equally fantastic too! :)
The graphics are amazing and it was great that it retained the same fun gameplay without making it look and feel inferior to the original. The level music really adds to the game as well.
This can only get a 5 from me. Simply brilliant.
