Reviews for Push Off (#3943)

Push Off is a cute Pengo type game that looks very smooth and polished for a 1983 title. This is great for what it is, and impressive for such an early Spectrum game.
Good for a quick bit of fun, but you may soon tire of pushing blocks around for screen after screen.

It plays pretty well but the key layout is horrible. Luckily I played this with a controller. Pretty nice game to play though if you can avoid using the keys.

This is Pengo but with insects instead of the usual birds.
Plays very well for such an early game (1983) and is quite addictive besides looking good with some nice crafted graphics. The original arcade game was and still is one of fav game, and this version doesn't fall far from the quality I was used to.

What the bloody hell is with these keys? Enter for up and Space for down?! You are having a laugh! I mean the graphics are nice, but the gameplay wasn't quite up to the Pengo gameplay I know, something was missing from this one. Not too bad but I've played better Pengo clones, and them keys alone dock a point.
