From the same guy who brought you Match Day comes a cutesy little game where you help Ted the Bear climb up and down ladders to collect batteries for his vehicle whilst avoiding the nasties. The gameplay is quite fun and the music is pretty good but gets tedious after a while, the sprites are typical Ritman with the movement being the same as Match Day, but the sprite clash is really bad and it really shows its age with it...funny enough just like Match Day does too.
Still all in all, pretty enjoyable game.
1983 Artic Computing (UK)
by Jon Ritman and Guy Stevens
This game was written by Jon Ritman's of Match Day, Head Over Heels and Batman's fame.
It's very similar to Burger Time, were the object of the game, which it to drop batteries down ladders unto Teddy's car, stationed below, then parking it near the next battery, and doing it again until the level is complete, reminds very much the way slices of bread, lettuce or tomato fall from Burger Time's stairs.
There are also baddies to spoil our job, some are just the same as Teddy but with a pink sweater, and a few more like a sort of frog, which I think should feature more in the game instead of Teddy's "brothers".
There is also a energy objects, like drinks, foods, etc to help Teddy replenish energy.
The characters move very similar to the Match Day's players making me think the sprites are basically the same.
And the music is also a nice feature.
Overall a very good game for 1983, still very playable, but a bit boring over time.
