Fabulous arcade conversion though it can be a little too easy. Still it stands out as a quite quality game with plenty of charm.

A reboot of the classic Asteroids, converted from the arcade coin-op original with the same name.
Has with all Asteroid games you can never be 100% accurate in escaping meteorites or debris, not that it isn't possible, but simply because the space you have to maneuver your ship is too small and sometimes crowded. Most times you just escape by sheer luck. This was okay for the arcades, because it meant you would lose a lot and spend more money playing it. But for home computers, games such as these can and should be more fair.
In this enhanced version you have several new features, the first and most obvious is the possibility of transforming your ship into 3 different ones, size and fire power will be different in every single one. The tendency is to use the bigger ship which fires more rounds, but because it's bigger will get more exposed to outside objects, so the smaller ships will be useful. This means there is a small strategy element not seen in earlier versions of Asteroids. This is a good thing. There are other different features to explore, namely other ships which cruise the same space as we do, or small stars you must collect.
