Some nice music to this one but the gameplay is severely lacking in any real quality, not helped any by the tiny graphics and the lack of sound. For 1988 this looks very outdated too, possibly if it was released in 1986 it would have been more favourable. I certainly would have wanted and expected more from my £8.95, especially when you look at games like Feud which was out a year earlier, was £7 cheaper and looks and plays considerably better than this.

This is considered an arcade adventure game, which is correct, but due to the surrounding elements on screen and the available options (which are more implied than actually available) made me think of it as more of a strategy arcade game. Unfortunately the small playing area, with uninteresting graphics only redeemed by the surrounding graphics which are quite good, the rigid movement without much smoothness, and the overall repetitiveness of the game, makes it too average to be played with excitement. The music however, played in the beginning but lacking all throughout the rest of the game is quite good.

If this was a budget game I would have cut it some slack, but it was a full priced title and a very dull and uneventful one.

Wizard warz ...there are so many wrong things with this little piece of software.
Back in the day I even didn't know it.
But I have to say to have good elements badly fitted.
Otherwise, it would be an excellent one.
