The name may be a bit misleading, because this is not exactly a simulator, this is basically an arcade game like 1942 in slightly different clothing. Well to be accurate there are major differences, the way you control altitude, for example, is one of them. Also you move back and forth and not always in the same direction. The game fails in being as addictive as usually shoot 'em ups are, maybe because shooting is not as compelling when it happens with less frequency.
