Reviews for Spike in Transylvania (#9421)

I really hate background graphics that obscure the sprites. It usually causes you to walk into enemies you can't see. In this case it's the rats which sap your energy. It's not a major problem but it's still annoying.
What we have here is a fairly standard Dizzy style arcade adventure. The Codemasters released a ton of these and this one doesn't offer anything new or exciting. If you like these sort of games then you'll probably like this one too.

For another grab-and-use objects adventure game, this one has a certain charm to it, maybe it's the medieval age theme or the colorful cartoonish characters or maybe both. It's still very average although playable and fun, with lots of features throughout. You get to do a lot of tasks, some quite original and meet a few castle creepies, which is always a bonus. The main quest is to rescue Spikes shipmates from the Transylvania Castle, while performing the necessary actions to move forward. I get the feeling Dracula slepted all thru this game.
