Alberoto is a how-to guide for building a Christmas Tree made of toilet paper rolls.
I'm rating 4 out of 5 not because of the graphic (very basic) and the programming (it's just a slideshow) but because of the foresight: in Italy, in 1984, reciclyng was not an issue. Nowadays there are many efforts to teach, mainly in schools, the importance of not throwing away objects that could have another use. I think that Alberoto fits in this category very well.
I would like to make an Alberoto for me, this Chrismtas, but at the moment I don't have the 55 rolls (only the thick inside part is needed) to make it. Maybe next year.
A poor Pacman clone.
Funny thing: I think that the graphics of this game were used for inspiration for IKEA's SLINGRIG pillow.
One of the earliest games for the Spectrum. I have memories of playing this game with my parents. "Magic apple" and "clove of garlic" are among my first words in English.
Anyway it aged soon and it looked old even a few years later.
It would be better if the floor plan didn't take 1 min. to show!
I think this is the game I played most when I was a kid. The two-player race was amazing, trying to bump your opponent out of the road, risky overtakings and the constant scarcity of fuel made this one of the most funny and thrilling games for the Spectrum.
Not so funny if you're playing alone.
