Island of Secrets, 18 May 2019 (Rating: 4)

Interesting game. You NEED the book as the text adventure does NOT tell you all the objects in an area, nor does it tell you the exits.

Your strength slowly drains as you try to restore the Earth to its former glory by gathering secret objects and travelling to the Island of Secrets.

The puzzles are simple once you get the hang of it... but you MUST use Caps Lock!

Nice type-in game.

The Comet Game, 21 May 2019 (Rating: 2)

Not a brilliant game. You are the AI in charge of a spaceship on the way to Halley's comet which is full of space disease or something.

On the way you have to repeatedly do 1 of 5 mini-games. One involves pointing the satellite dish the right way which takes about 2 seconds which is just rubbish.

The best game is the life-support one where you make coffee for the astronaut while periodically emptying their bladder by pressing the P button. It's rather good fun.

At the end you fly over the comet, shooting blobs of bacteria.

The end.

Trip into the Future, 01 Jul 2019 (Rating: 3)

So a really simple 1K type-in game based around the Lorentz Effect, which is time dilation when you travel close to the speed of light.

You have a spaceship and want to go to the future.

You are given a target of how many years to travel.

You enter your speed, as a fraction of the speed of light. You enter the distance you want to travel.

Bosh!

The computer does the maths. If your journey takes YOU more than 50 years, you die of old age. If you arrive within 5 years, you win.

That's it.

Time outside the ship is

Time inside/ the square root of (1 - the square of your speed)
