I first played this a year or two ago after it was mentioned in a top 5 game lists on the WoS forum and I found it really enjoyable. It's a fun game to spend a quiet afternoon on and it's not too difficult once you get past the first challenge. One of my favourite features is the telephone system, which you can use to teleport to different areas once you've obtained the code.

The only other difficult aspect is the energy meter, which can drop to zero very quickly, especially if you use the levitation crystal a lot.

I give this 4/5

This is a really well written, well thought out adventure and it's loads of fun to play. It's quirky and challenging but not too difficult. I recommend this to all adventure players.

The fact that it's one of the few speccy games to come from Ireland is an added bonus. :)

5/5

Another great and underrated little game. The puzzles aren't very difficult and the game is very enjoyable overall. My only complaint with it (and it's a small one) is that you have to drop objects in very precise positions on the screen for them to work which requires a lot of trial and error. For that I am only giving it 4/5.

I'm not sure if I should review this game yet since I haven't played it properly yet but it looks interesting and may be worth persevering with. Reading the book beforehand seems to be necessary as the answer to several puzzles are found inside it e.g. the daughter's name you have to enter at the start (Nessa, by the way). Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to reading it yet so I haven't advanced very far in the game. There are also a couple of logic and maths- based puzzles thrown in (building the bridge for example) and I'm far too tired to even think about them now. :)

I do intend reading the book and I am definitely interested in giving it another go once I've finished it, and will do a proper review then too.

It does look good though.

It's a mildly fun game I suppose, just not very exciting. Gameplay involves standing in the right place and performing a particular action at the right game. It's not difficult but after playing the cannon level about 10 times in a row, it does get boring.
