BUBBLE TROUBLE ============== Basil the burglar threw his swag bag into the corner, put on his old, grey woolly socks and slumped into bed after a long evening of pillaging. Through the window, the light of the full moon falls gently on his tired face. Basil slowly dozes. But Basil's sleep is restless, again and again his dreams are invaded with huge, bubble like monsters that chase, catch, and suffocate him. Understandably, Basil is upset by this situation. All he wants to dream about is robbing people without being punished for his crimes. BUBBLE TROUBLE is a high resolution original arcade type game with excellent use of colour and sound. You are a burglar, your aim in life is to steal anything you can. The more you steal the higher the points attainable. But hurry, there are monsters in the shape of bubbles that suffocate on contact and a time limit on each of the fifty screens available. When time lapses, you progress to the next screen. There are three different skill levels. Level three (although slower) is still very difficult to crack! If using a joystick then the fire button could prove to be a very useful item. (On the keyboard "0" (zero)). This key allows you to "scatter" the bubbles if you find yourself cornered. But beware this button only works once every 10 seconds, and it only scatters the bubbles to the nearest opening or wall and they will then "Home in" on you again. The keys necessary to play the game are the cursor keys (arrows), the zero button, and the "H" button to hold the game (any other key restarts). LOADING INSTRUCTIONS Ensure tape is completely rewound. Connect ear socket on recorder to ear socket on computer. Type in load "" (this is done by first pressing the "J" key and then to get speach marks hold the symbol shift key down and at the same time press the letter "P" twice) Set vol to about 1/2 way. Set tone to max. Press "ENTER" then wait. If unsuccessful try again with different volume setting. If successful you will be asked to select a skill level. After selecting this you will be asked to choose a screen. Press "Y" if the screen shown is required otherwise any other key. When "Y" is pressed the game commences and everything will become clear. NOTES Any contact outside the screen area is neutral and ignored. Place yourself firmly over the treasures to ensure a positive pick up. Extra lives every 5 levels depending on whether the computer thinks you need one. The computer senses the presence of an 'interface' so if using a Kempston joystick the keyboard will not respond to directional changes. At the start of each game your player displays multi-colours; this is to help you find him quickly on the screen.
