GREMLINS

SCENARIO GREMLINS

Uranium has become the main fuel for Earth. Unfortunately Earths supply of Uranium is 
dwindling fast. Jupiter has unlimited deposits of the precious metal, only one problem 
faces the Intergalactic miner robots from earth: GREMLINS.

GREMLINS are the natural habitants of Jupiter and they eat Uranium. These creatures are 
very fast and vicious, with an anjazing ability to change shape. The GREMLINS want to 
keep their metamorphosis secret and to keep it secret, they create a wall of 
multicoloured light which hides the GREMLINS until they have changed. This effect only 
lasts a short time as it drains the GREMLINS energy. This seems not to matter too much, 
as there are not too many Earthlings who can survive even the first vicious onslaught.


GUARANTEE

All THOR GAMES FROM THE GODS products have a life-time guarantee. If this tape ever 
fails to load, it will be replaced totally free of charge, if returned with details, 
directly to Thor Computer Software, Liverpool. If the tape shows any form of physical 
damage, please include £1.50 to cover replacement costs. This guarantee does not 
affect and is in addition to your statutory consumer rights.


LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Connect the EAR socket on your Spectrum to the EAR socket on your recorder and ensure 
   the MIC lead is disconnected as well.

2. Place the cassette tape in the recorder and rewind to the beginning.

3. Type LOAD""

4. Press PLAY on the cassette recorder.

5. GREMLINS will now load automatically and the word PROGRAM will now appear at the top 
   left-hand corner of your screen. When the word Program leaves the screen the main 
   introduction panel will appear approximately 35 seconds later. If loading is 
   unsuccessful, rewind the cassette, adjust the VOLUME control on the recorder and try 
   again.

   NOTE: Full loading instructions can be found in your Spectrum manual.

TO PLAY

There are 26 screens, each with different aliens who fire double photon bolts at you. 
This is a game where EXPERTS have to be EXPERTS to survive. The game requires lightning 
reactions and nerves of steel. If you survive long enough you may even get off the first
