KEMPSTON JOYSTICK COMPATIBLE Another exciting arcade game for your spectrum from: PSS, 452 Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry, U.K. The object of this exciting version of the arcade game is to get Fergus the Frog and his friends safely across the six lane highway and the treacherous river, and back to the lilly pads on the opposite bank. 1. LOADING INSTRUCTIONS: a) Full loading instructions are given in chapter 20 of the Spectrum manual. To load Hopper: b) Connect the ear socket of your tape player to the ear socket of the spectrum using the lead supplied with your Spectrum. c) Make sure the tape is fully rewound. d) Type LOAD"". e) Press Enter. f) Start your tape player. g) When the program has loaded, a title page will be displayed showing the control keys. You can use either: (a) The cursor keys - ie. 5 : LEFT 6 : DOWN 7 : UP 8 : RIGHT (b) Caps Shift-V : LEFT B-Space : RIGHT A-Enter : DOWN Q-P : UP or (c) A Kempston Joystick Now press any key to start the game. 2. PLAYING HOPPER: You have ten lives to begin with. You must manoeuvre your frog from the base line, through the moving traffic to the opposite side of the road - keep your eye on the train! Once there, hop across the river on the backs of the turtles (watch out, they have a nasty habit of diving) and get home to the lillypads on the other side.
