I.C.U.P.S.

SCENARIO

As a prospective special agent of the International Commission for Universal Problem 
Solving (I.C.U.P.S.), you have been asked to take part in a computer simulation requiring 
for its successful completion skill, dexterity and speed of reaction under stress. The 
test is split into two distinct parts, the first places you at the controls of an 
Interstellar Escort Ship, the same type as is used to protect ambassadors from the Worlds 
of Light when they travel to and from Inter-Planetary meetings.

You must pilot this ship through three sections of Space Tunnel guarded by remote controlled 
craft that will attempt to stop you from reaching your objective — the enemy Starship.

The second part of your test involves the finding of four parts of a bomb which have been 
secreted within this Starship. To facilitate this task you control a DEEN Mk.ll, the 
latest in Hostile Environment Anthrobots.

On completion of both tasks your performance will be assessed and an overall score, 
accumulated during the execution of both sections one and two will be given.


LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

COMMODORE 64/128 CASSETTE
Place the cassette in your Data Recorder and rewind the tape. Hold down the SHIFT key 
and at the same time press the RUN/STOP key. Press PLAY on the Data Recorder and the 
game will now automatically load.

DISK
Place the disk in your disk drive and type the following:
LOAD "*", 8 
RUN

The game will now load and run.

SPECTRUM 48K/128K
Place the cassette in your recorder and rewind the tape.
Then type the following:

LOAD ""
The game will now load and run.



PLAYING INSTRUCTIONS

The tests are controlled by the use of either a joystick plugged into port 2, or the 
keyboard.

SPECTRUM 48k Ji 28k.
The tests are controlled by the use of a Cursor or Kempston Compatible joystick, or the 
keyboard.
