The bottom player uses joystick port 1. WAGGLE Left/Right... gives power for Run, Walk, Crawl, Swim etc. DOWN ... Go down for crawl. UP... Recover from crawl, jump and climb. FIRE ... Shoot gun right. FIRE & LEFT... Shoot gun left. Commodore key... End Game. Normally aborts game but can be used in one player game to save waiting for computer controlled man to finish. The player's man must have crossed the finish line to obtain a valid score. JUMPS — There are two sorts of jumps:— 1. If the man is moving the jump length will depend on the speed as he jumps. 2. A jump when stationary will give a fixed jump distance — very useful when jumping flames, etc. HINTS & TIPS * Keep the power up when swimming or the man will sink. Mud is harmless but quicksand will slow you up, the deeper you are. * Crawl across the ropes as standing will make you lose your balance. * Small walls are best jumped with a stationary jump if they are close together. * Jump onto walls from about 2 strides back when running flat out. * Walk on the oil to avoid slipping unless there is a large patch in which case jumping may be quicker. * Keep a towel and cold drink handy.
