THE PLOT Far away in a distant dimension the aftermath of nuclear war spreads its rotting plague across the once fertile plains of the Quanton Galaxy. 10 days ago the Treaty of Quanton was signed. This would see the destruction of all land based nuclear weapons and the shutdown of the dreaded moon citadels that circled the Galaxy. The shutdown progressed smoothly until only the Galileo Moon Citadel remained. This ultra-advanced Citadel featured high level artificial intelligence and contained enough nuclear power to destroy the Quanton Galaxy. The Galileo Citadel had been monitoring the airwaves and picked up signals of its imminent disarmament. Since it had been programmed for survival, it activated its auto-defence system. You have been assigned the task of penetrating the Galileo Moon Citadel to destroy the ten nuclear energy towers located at the centre of its core. PLAYING THE GAME Destroy Nuclear Towers: This is done by collecting anti radiation orbs from the dimension room. Each tower is made up of 9 sections and 1 orb is needed to destroy each section (therefore you need 9 orbs to destroy 1 tower and 90 orbs to complete the game). The tower sections are then destroyed by bouncing on them. The Dimension Room: This chamber is located below Level 5 and contains the anti radiation orbs. The amount of time that you can stay in this room is determined by the number of time cubes that have been collected from Levels 1 to 4 (each cube is worth 5 time units and the maximum time allowed is 100 units). Whilst in the Dimension Room you must collect as many orbs as possible within the time available. This is done by moving across the 8 directional scrolling grid. Once an orb has been collected, the grid needs to be centered between the four small skulls before another orb will appear. Teleport between levels by touching the teleport bubble and control your speed by use of the velocity controls. Certain terrain features can effect your velocity and energy. Energy remaining is represented by the skull on the right hand side of the screen. The darker the colour, the less energy you have left. You have been briefed . . . the rest is up to you.
